Each Ignitia academic course is parent-led. Hence, you will also proactively monitor the progress of your child and keep records within the LMS. There are also tasks that require manual grading or task unblocking from the parent teacher. Parents will be equipped and trained for Ignitia Navigation (manual grading, task unblocking, reassigning of tasks) during their Homeschool 101 orientation.

Ignitia grades 80% of all academic course requirements (i.e. Assignments, Quizzes, and Unit Tests). However, there are tasks that require manual grading or task unblocking from the parent teacher. Parents will be equipped and trained for Ignitia Navigation (manual grading, task unblocking, reassigning of tasks) during their Homeschool 101 orientation.

Families under the Tech-AOP Program will have a Personal Support Advisor. The Personal Support Advisor is your main contact person for all matters regarding the Tech Track. Your Personal Support Advisor is just an email away and will support you digitally every step of the way in your homeschooling journey as well as in setting up initially. Your Personal Support Advisor will: help you set up your Ignitia accounts (student and parent-teacher); provide you with support ensuring that parents and students are on track with accurate records; offer academic guidance in accordance with their individual educational expertise; assist you with any Learn program services and concerns; keep in touch with you monthly for updates; and will be available to answer your queries during Live Online Q&A. Every year, families under the Tech-AOP program also get midyear consultations. This serves as a checkpoint at the middle of the year. It is accountability time with your support advisor to validate your homeschooling journey. This is a 45-minute to an hour session that can happen live or online. These consultations should be booked at least one week ahead of time.
